How does the free trial work?
The free diagnostic at /trial takes about 30 minutes — a short set of questions across all four sections plus a writing task. You get an instant score and a weak-spot breakdown. No account or card needed to start.
What’s included in each mock test?
Every full mock covers all four sections — Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills and Writing — timed like the real exam, with step-by-step worked solutions for every question and AI-marked writing with feedback.
How is the Writing section marked?
Writing is marked automatically against Selective-style criteria and reported as a Band (0–6) with written feedback — so your child sees not just a mark, but how to improve.
How much does it cost, and do tests expire?
You buy tests individually or in packs — no subscription. Once you own a test it stays in your account and never expires. See the Pricing page for current prices, and the Refund Policy for details on refunds.

No. Smart Panda is an independent preparation tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NSW Department of Education. Our questions are original and written to mirror the format and skills the real test assesses.
